Raid Japan Level Minnow

The LEVEL MINNOW is a 125mm minnow jerkbait developed with three key elements in mind. “Casting distance”, “Action response”, and “Depth versatility”.


・Astounding casting distance

The LEVEL MINNOW is equipped with a magnet-style weight transfer system. On the takeback, the magnet detaches and slides to the backend, then blasts forward for casting distance that puts it in the top class of equal sized minnows. And it’s not just the weight transfer system. From body shape and lip angle to counterweight for stabilization during its flight, all elements combine for astounding casting distance. You’ll see that the LEVEL MINNOW is on a whole other level especially in head winds.


・Extraordinary action response that moves with just line weight

Generally, long minnow jerkbaits start moving slow or awkward due to its length. However, the LEVEL MINNOW was designed as a “minnow jerkbait that produces fish with just a straight retrieve”. Unseen in previous long minnows, it has achieved extraordinary action response. It essentially starts moving with just weight of the line; it’s achieved the pinnacle in response. With a straight retrieve, it makes a super tight and super high-pitched action that mesmerizes. Even on a no-action drift, the lure makes lifelike movement that gets the most battle-hardened monsters to bite. The LEVEL MINNOW performs superbly with rod work as well. By adding jerks and twitches, it darts forward in a beautiful turning motion.


・Depth range controlled by the angler

The LEVEL MINNOW has a semi-catapult lip that dives at a shallow angle and maintains a horizontal swim. With a full cast, its maximum dive depth is about 1.5m (on fluorocarbon line). Depth can also be adjusted with rod position. Due to its semi-catapult system, it allows the angler to trace a range of depths. For a shallow range, bring your rod tip up and retrieve. To trace along a deeper range (1m～1.5m or more), position your rod low.


■SEMI-CATAPULT LIP

Evolving from the precise design of the LEVEL CRANK MID’s catapult lip, the LEVEL MINNOW is equipped with the “Semi-catapult”. It dives at a shallow angle while maintaining a horizontal posture. The dive depth can also be adjusted by changing the rod position. By doing so, the angler can control the dive range from less than 1m up to 1.5m+.


■ Magnet-style weight transfer system

The LEVEL MINNOW is equipped with a magnet-style weight transfer system. On takeback, the weight detaches from the magnet and center of gravity shifts to the backend. Combined with its slim profile, it has achieved top-class casting distance.
